Welcome to a department built around women’s wellness. DPMCH’s Obstetrics and Gynaecology team brings together Obstetricians, Gynaecologists, and Neonatologists who use advanced technology to deliver care tailored to each patient.

Our diagnostic services include 4D Ultrasound, Bone Densitometry, Thin Prep Cytology, Laparoscopic Diagnostics, and Colposcopy — giving our doctors a clear, accurate view of every stage of care. Our Obstetrics Centre features a state-of-the-art labour room with continuous monitoring for both mother and baby, powered by the latest Non-Stress Test (NST) technology.

For new families, our Birthing Centre offers a tranquil, secure environment for childbirth with careful foetal monitoring, alongside a well-appointed nursery. For newborns who need extra support, our 24×7 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is equipped with ventilators, phototherapy, and warmers, staffed by a dedicated team of neonatologists and nurses.

Backed by two ultra-modern operation theatres with Laminar Air Flow Systems and HEPA filters, and a well-prepared Post Surgical ICU, DPMCH ensures every mother receives safe, seamless care from pregnancy through recovery.

Exercise is important for adults

Taking care of your health is important for living a long and fulfilling life. As an adult, it’s important to prioritize your physical and mental well-being by following some key medical advice. A balanced and nutritious diet, regular exercise, staying hydrated, and getting enough sleep are all crucial components of a healthy lifestyle.

Engaging in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week can significantly improve quality of life and longevity. Prioritizing regular exercise is a vital component of a healthy lifestyle for adults of all ages.
